About Us

John Hall, The Owner of Jasper Vac N Sew has been in the vacuum business for 50 years. He started out with the Filter Queen Company and with his wife Sandy opened Mr. Sweeper in Robinson Illinois. A few years later they added sewing machines and then opened a store in Kansas City, MO. While in Kansas City, John also became involved with the eyeglass business. He eventually returned to his roots in Dubois County and opened Jasper Optical Lab in 1984. In 1994 John & Sandy built the current location of Jasper Vac N Sew. John & Sandy Hall along with Jason Pierce and Jamison Seger appreciate all of our customers and the support Jasper and the surrounding communities have given us.
